Centre for South Asian Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore organized a book launching ceremony of "Pakistan - India Peace Prospect" authored by Mr. Ross Masud, Former Legal Advisor, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan on May 30, 2022 (Monday) at 12:00 noon in Auditorium, Centre for South Asian Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore.

Mr. Ross Masud launched his book, Pakistan - India Peace Prospect. He along his other guest speakers gave a detail introduction of India-Pakistan’s history. He elaborated the fluctuating slope of bilateral relation to warfare held between India and Pakistan. He further mentioned that how the book will contribute in the academia, as it covers detail of several conflicts between both states, mainly, the water issues and Kashmir. The ideology of RSS and Hindutva was also conceptually presented by other speakers. Prof. Dr. Umbreen Javiad, Director, Centre for South Asian Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore was also present to attend the book launching ceremony and was honored to officially cut the ribbon on book. Prof. Dr. Umbreen Javaid delivered a thanks-giving regards to Mr. Ross Masud on his achievement, great efforts and contribution to the existing literature.

Faculty members, M.Phil./Ph.D. scholars of the Centre for South Asian Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore attended the book launching ceremony in which research scholars and the students participated actively.
