A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology, University of the Punjab and M.Y. Genetik Agricultural Biotechnology Laboratories, Antalya, Turkey. Director CEMB Prof Dr Kausar Malik and Director M. Y. Genetik Mr Mehmet Ulger mutually agreed on conducting joint research activities, workshops and training programmes related to plant sciences, especially in the field of vegetable breeding and crop improvements using classical and modern plant biotechnological tools. Dr Allah Bakhsh will be the CEMB coordinator whereas Dr Erdem Kahveci will be M.Y. Genetik coordinator in joint activities.
