LAHORE: (Wednesday, October 15, 2025): Punjab University has approved reopening of the admission portal till October 24, 2025 for candidates who appeared in the university’s Phase-II admission test. According to Chairman Admission Committee Prof Dr Khalid Mahmood, the request was made to Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Ali on behalf of students who appeared in the PU Entry Test (Phase-II) but could not apply for admission in any program earlier. He said that the decision has been made after receiving a large number of written requests from various departments and applicants. He said that these candidates are being given an opportunity to apply for programs where seats are still available. According to the data provided by the IT Centre, the total number of such candidates is 1,639, he added.
